FR-LSZH Flame-Retardant Pipe
The FR (Flame Retardant) – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flame-retardant pipe is a high-performance functional pipe that offers the highest level of flame resistance among plastic materials. It is manufactured by dual extrusion, combining the excellent performance and physical properties of HDPE pipe with non-toxic flame-retardant additives. It is the first and only product in Korea to have passed KS F ISO 5660-1 (Heat Release Test) and KS F 2271 (Gas Toxicity Test), thereby verifying both its flame-retardant performance and safety to the human body. As a result, it is used as a pressure pipeline for water treatment applications.

- FR (Fire Retardant) – Flame-Retardant Properties
- This refers to the property of being difficult to ignite when exposed to flame, or self-extinguishing once the flame source is removed (self-extinguishing property). While general PE is highly combustible, FR-LSZH PE pipes use flame-retardant additives to slow the combustion rate and suppress flame propagation.

- This refers to the property of emitting little to no toxic gases (halogen gases) in the event of a fire, while also generating a very low amount of smoke.
